Letters From The Heart: Beckett's Story

What are the lessons you've learned that empowered you to love yourself?  This has taken years and a lot of hard work. The reason being that I was in an emotionally and verbally abusive relationship. He had convinced me that I was absolutely worthless, and it's taken the better part of a decade to not hear his voice in my head as my own. Reading "You Can Heal Your Life" was a good start. What are the lessons you've learned that empowered you to love yourself? I am strong.  I was taught to be hardest on myself and I learned to be gentler and more loving to myself.  I stopped and looked in the mirror and said hello...
