I don’t often feel compelled to answer or respond to a request for my “wisdom” or more truthfully to be asked to share about my journey.  I do believe that the next generations hold the power to truly change and just need to believe it. The women of my age group (65) worked hard and important progress was made but we still (in the US) are sending false messages to our little girls and young women. Our story & plans

Who we are: My name is Judith. I was born and raised in El Salvador, better known as “el pulgarcito de America” which roughly translates to “the thumb of America” because it is the smallest country in Central America. There I developed my love for pupusas, empanadas, tamales, jocotes, panes con pollo and many, many other foods. As is the case with many Central Americans, my father moved to the U.S. in pursuit of a better life for his kids. So, I grew up with mom, grandma and a younger brother and sister.
