I am Judith, I was born in El Salvador and spent part of my childhood there. When I was around twelve my parents knew I would have more opportunities in the U.S. so I moved here with my sister. I've lived in Florida ever since.
Why have a clothing line you may ask? When I was in middle school I managed to convince my parents of buying me a sewing machine so that I could turn my jeans into skirts. Unfortunately, it didn't go as well as I planned, but it was fun. So as you can see the interest was always there.
How did I come to this decision? One day after work I simply decided that I wanted a creative outlet to my otherwise static job, and since I have a hard time finding clothes that appeal to me on my size,South Elevation was born.
As you can tell by the name, it is an extension of who I am and my background in the construction industry. Our slogan "Altogether beautiful" came from the book of songs:
"You are altogether beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way."
Song of Solomon 4:7
Our goal is to create a line for the multipassionate plus size woman while being kind to the environment. A clothing line for the curvy woman that has many influences in her style, language and life perspective. The third culture woman.
